Does H265 (HEVC) work for you in React-native-webrtc?
I have a problem where it works fine in Chrome, but when I try to run it through the React app, I get an error saying that the codec is not supported.
Moreover H265 works over HLS, but not over Webrtc.
H.265 support in WebRTC depends on the underlying libwebrtc build and on what the device hardware codec exposes, so it often works in desktop Chrome but not in a mobile build. You could check RTCRtpSender.getCapabilities(“video”) in your app to see whether H265 is listed at all. If it is not, falling back to H.264 or VP8 is usually the safest option for now.
